How do you smile?
Do you show teeth?
I just smile with my mouth closed. Kinda like a smirk.
Humor welcome.
When did showing teeth become a thing?

When my dad said I had to because he’d spent $3,000 on braces and I wound up with a Farrah Fawcett smile. He said I had to show it!
Yes sir.
Maybe it’s a southern thang, but we always show teeth when we smile
<- Like that usually.
But sometimes like this :D
And once in a while like this ;P
I think the “white smile” has been a thing for a while…

I make it a habit to not smirk at people, so I give a toothy smile!!!
No teeth in my smile. No idea why. I’ve tried it in a mirror, and it looks like I’m grimacing.
I guess by making a weird shape out of your mouth.
Most of the time I leave out the toothy grin. It makes my eyes all squinty.
If we think of a smile as a laugh that could not make it all the way then it would be natural to show teeth.
I use about 43 muscles in my face in unison and it just happens.
It may be while reading a question here, seeing a friend, taking the countless selfies that I take, or just a reaction to gas.
Pearly whites are showing.
It’s always been a thing. I think my teeth may barely show when I smile. Even when talking my bottom teeth don’t show at all. I have a small mouth anyway.
Depends on the type of smile.
Smiling at someone, no teeth.
Being goofy for the camera, teeth.
If I worried or thought about how I smiled, I never would.
