Is the chat room working again?

I have asked this Q before in a previous incarnation, but this time I really think it is – doesn’t there seem to be a lot of names in the chat sidebar?

The names have been there for a few days, so I think they are at the Hotel California. They can check out anytime they want, but they can never leave.
