Did you know there's a currently running thread in Meta that has 3607 responses so far?

Not everybody remembers to stop by the Meta section, so you might have missed it. Been going for two months now, started by @raum on February 2.
Basically it’s a game of numbers, with some commentary and chitchat thrown in. It has sort of taken on a life of its own. Slow loading, though, be warned.
Have you chimed in, or is this news to you?

Ignorance is bliss.
You have to wreck my ignorance. Now I know about it.
I don’t know if everyone knows this, but that thread was actually inspired by this
Funny how the person who went out to ask for responses was humiliatingly beaten by someone who not only got the idea from them but also didn’t mean to gather that much responses :)
I noticed it back in February, and commented back then, but I had not returned, so no, I did not know that.
Oh wait, no, I noticed a different one, that had a discussion and didn’t involve counting (the “inspiration” one, which seems to have got to about 21).
And I have a drawer full of rubber bands dating back to 2004.
Or, maybe 2005.
That’s what real committment can do.
@JLoon, my paper clip collection is probably older than you are.
Thanks for letting me know!
I love counting, quipping, and commenting! ;D
Haha, @Brian1946. Have you counted your posts on that thread?
No. But I used to do this many years ago. Start a game with the objective of getting a record number of responses.
No, but I rushed right over to get in on the count.
I stopped visiting after a couple days because just sequencing numbers, in my opinion, should not “count” towards tallying responses.
Not sure what you mean by tallying responses, @zenvelo. Are you talking about lurve? For me they’re mostly blanks. I can see 100 or more points logged some days without a single actual point gain, and that’s been true for years. The thread isn’t a lurve machine. It’s just a little silly, harmless fun.
@Jeruba It was fun when people made comments, no matter how silly, on what the count was. But I lost interest in it when it was “comment” after comment that was just the number of the comment.
