It could be movie stars, singers, mathematicians, serial killers. And it can be from where you grew up or where you live now.
Chuck Yeager was born in WV. First man to break the sound barrier. Our local airport is named after him. The writer Pearl S. Buck was from WV.
Jennifer Garner, movie star, grew up in WV.
Rumor has it that Charles Manson, serial killer was born here.

My recollection is sketchy on this, but I think Auggie dined with some guy, before she discovered that he was an infamous serial killer.
I think that was when she lived in Maryland, or perhaps even WV! :-o
