I am constantly adjusting the volume on my ipod nano 3rd generation.

iTunes—> Preferences—> Playback—> Sound Check

The problem’s with your ears. Or don’t you have ears? :)

@johnP – I have turned on “sound check”. Now I should just reload the music to my ipod?

If you just turned it on you should re-sync it. If it was already on I can’t really offer any more help.

@john – it wasn’t turned on before and when I plugged in the ipod, it started to re-sync the volume. Thanks! Now I am gonna go test it! Many thanks!
