What are some lasting memories you've made with your kids and grand kids?
Rick set a stump on fire.
The kids immediately dubbed it a volcano and started making sacrifice of small branches and twigs. Of course that led to an actual fire instead of a slow and steady smolder.
Gramma broke out the hot dogs!
I don’t think they’ll ever forget the day they cooked hot dogs over Gramma’s tree stump!

When my oldest were 6 and 8, I got up extra early and packed freshly made hot biscuits and hot chocolate and then we stuffed everything and the kids in the car and took the family to a scenic overlook. We watched the sun come up and ate our breakfast there. It was a great memory.
That sounds wonderful @snowberry!
Before my son was born I packed his two sisters up at 3a.m. to take pictures of Haley’s comet. I took a sleeping bag. It was an organized thing. There were probably 30 other people there and we had our cameras set up in a giant field. And we saw the sun come up.
Afterward I took the girls to McDs.
I know the oldest remembers it. She was about 7. The other was 2.
Grand kids – - – Dogwood flowering season, ‘WOOF WOOF” every time anyone sees a flowering dogwood; no score, no wrong answer. Everybody in car is laughing ! !
Smelts. I have no children.
No children here, either. I miss who I imagine them to be.
