Do you use your hold , or mute, button on your phone?
When you are temporarily busy or using the washroom?

I use the mute when I have to take a call in the bathroom. I can’t remember using the hold function.
I NEVER get a call when my bladder is empty; so, YES I use the mute button when necessary!!! Don’t think my phone has a hold button…never liked those anyway!!!
I probably use the reject/block button most.
But I mute some of my work calls – in case I start thinking out loud.
Yes, I do use mute when it’s necessary during a phone call. Have also used hold sometimes when the other person offers to wait and can’t call back.
I use mute during conference calls when it is not my turn to speak.
I also mute my phone when I mistakenly answer a spam call. Rather than hanging up immediately I put the phone on mute and just let it waste their connect time.
All the time. Mute is a savior for me at times.
Hold and send to VM is a less used option, but I do use them. It all depends on who I am talking to and who is calling.
I use both regularly on my office phone. Sometimes on my house phone. Never on my mobile.
@LuckyGuy GREAT IDEA!!! Hadn’t thought about that one…mind IF I borrow it???
@LuckyGuy – I mute during conf calls too. One has to be really careful not to say “yes” during a spam call. They can record that and put you on some expensive program. Mute will prevent that. I might have to do the mute trick too, to waste their connect time. Good revenge.
