Sign into YouTube with any Google account.

Click on your avatar in the upper-right corner.

Go to your Channel.

Start making content and publishing it there.

That’s the easy part and it’s all free.

The real questions are…

What is your content about?
Is it interesting/fun/new?
Will people care about it?
Can you market it?
And on, and on.

Plus, you have to be consistent. Producing quality content weekly or more. There are also YT rules and algorithms to pay attention to. And, constant promotion across social media platforms.

Plus, nuts and bolts stuff like the right equipment and good storytelling skills.

Lastly, a ton of luck. Some stuff just hits because it hits. I’ve seen very talented artists producing regular content for barely anyone. Then, there’s a little kid who reviews toys and makes millions.

Either way, you gotta start with an idea and the desire to make regular content.

Millions but they have a tight production team and great content.

Salary Highlights: In 2019, Rhett and Link earned a combined $18 million from their various endeavors. That was enough to make them the fourth-highest YouTubers in the world for the year. In 2020 they earned $20 million.

It varies wildly, one channel may make $800 per 1 million views while another may make 3k

My daughter’s niece makes $10,000 a month by making videos about her family life.
She did it by being very pretty, very silly, creating a lot of content, and getting a shout out from a famous rapper.
She’s been doing this for several years. She is aware the window is not eternal, and has opened a selfie shop.

It’s definately an ‘all in’ endeavor to make money and get subscribers.
One of my friends is successful, one just folded. The one that is successful went all in and found a popular niche.

@cookieman gave you the basic instructions on HOW to get into it!!! YOU need to come up with an idea that everybody will fall IN LOVE with!!! The biggest problem I see with making money on Youtube is that your popularity of fleeting…it’s here today & gone tomorrow. What I see on various channels that those raking in the BIG bucks, quit their job, go crazy traveling or buying fancy homes & new fancy cars. Then when their bubble bursts (and it WILL burst) they have to go out & find a job with limited work experience. In the beginning, you make VERY LITTLE money while working close to 24 hours a day. The trolls will attack you relentlessly. IF you’re a sensitive soul, they may well eat you alive!!! It helps IF you’re young & good looking although that’s NOT the main requirement!!! It’s a LOT MORE work than it appears online!!! You also need to remember that you can’t please everyone!!! IF you decide to try it…GOOD LUCK!!!
