Why cant people learn from history?

Why people cant learn from history? There are countless of bad ideas that were tried before many Times and always failed however people keep doing them?

There is always another generation. Old people die, and young
People are born. History repeats.

Some people have to be burned many times before they listen.
Some never listen and then SHTF.

What you assume can’t apply to all people all the time.

Some people learn.
Some people only learn the hard way.
Some people NEVER learn!

Because people are re-writing history so no one is offended.

People believe it won’t happen to them, when they do it.
Basically they only learn the hard way.
