Have you ever laughed/judged a person for making a silly mistake and later found out that they where right all along?

I watched a commercial for a child/parent dance show and the daughter asked what a cucaracha was, and the parent said that it is a roach. The audience laughed. It turns out that she was right.

Turns out it is a folk song about a cockroach that can’t walk. So she was right.

I try hard not to laugh at anyone or judge anyone. We all goof from time to time..that is no way to won friends or influence people.

Sure! But then, I laugh at myself a lot, too. I often crack myself up.

At a friend’s wedding I got very drunk, along with the bridesmaid’s fiancee. He was a computer science student at Berkeley. He was telling me about his idea for a computer game (this is back in the age of Pong). Well his idea of a game where the player flies a spaceship rescuing people on a planet being attacked by robots was just too complicated to be possible. I told him he was crazy.
Yup. He went on to create Defender, one of the biggest video games ever, and Robotron.

A friend of mine, an artist, did something similar. He told some guy that his new dolls were ugly and would never be popular. They became Cabbage Patch Kids.

It happens all the time. Usually people are embarrassed when they find out I was right all along. “When will they learn”

Yeah about that. I would still laugh at them. I always get the last laugh.
