Are retail stores still on shorter hours where you live?

When covid first hit a lot of stores where I live shortened their hours. Mostly, they shortened their hours by closing earlier at night. Some stores still have not gone back to their prior to covid hours.
Is it a good thing? Did covid push retail back to having reasonable hours for their employees?

Not at all, back to normal.
It’s almost like nothing happened…funny that!
It is mixed where I am. Most of the coffee places, especially Starbucks, are on shortened hours: not open as early and closing early. The main Starbucks in my town is open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
I live in California but work NY hours because of the market. I can’t get breakfast or coffee to go before work.
Most of the stores have fully re-opened if they re-opened at all. Lots of vacant storefronts.
Stores are mostly back to normal that i know of, but restaurants and some places have shortened hours because of staff shortages.
Yeah, like every single store here has shortened their hours and a lot permanently as well. Walmart will never be open here 24 hours again they said, there really isn’t a store here open 24 hours anymore and there used to be plenty.
Some stores have shortened hours, at a supermarket I’ve seen more than once a department manager in the parking lot collecting and returning shopping carts.
It’s mixed here too. Pizza places seem to be hit disproportionally hard for some reason. Some are real labor/material shortages and others realized shorter hours work better for them.
Mixed. I’m in California.
Nope. The only place I can think of that still has modified hours is a local restaurant, and that is entirely a product of the owner’s incredible sense of entitlement. That said, I live in a small rural town. Even before the pandemic, nothing except the grocery store stayed open later than 8:00 PM Sunday through Thursday or 10:00 PM Friday and Saturday.
The nearest city, which is probably a better indicator, is also more or less back to normal.
My local 24 hour Tesco is now open 06:00am to 11:00pm. I don’t think it will go back to 24 hour opening.
