What do you use when reading a characters name wrong after a couple of years in a novel?
Do you switch to the correct pronunciation or stay true to your childhood hero/villan?
Also include real people, places and things.
Humor welcome.
What other things are you stuck in your ways?

Keep it the exact same way in your head…but, change it when speaking with others about the character!!!
Who reads a novel for “a couple of years”?!
@smudges I read the Dragonlance series. Is 100 or so books. I misread the wizards name. Raistlin as rastlin. I only found out when the YouTube videos came out.
Ok, so more than one novel. I can understand that. I usually make up a name that is close enough to satisfy me, but it usually bugs the hell out of me. ;)
I read characters’ names wrong all the time. I try to adjust on the outside and use the old name for myself, as a joke :)
