Is the term "unacceptable" the buzzword in politics and news this year?

Asked by RedDeerGuy1 (24945points) July 11th, 2022

It’s losing its weight because it is used too often.

What do you think?

Unacceptable is a wimpy cop-out.

I would for ‘repulsive’ or something that has some spirit in it.

People have been using “unacceptable” for the last 25 years. It is not new jargon.

It is, however, a term that is difficult to refute.

Yes, it’s overused, like “absolutely” and “perfect”.

Well, I find it less annoying than “unprecedented” because virtually everything described as “unprecedented” is precedented if you’ve studied any history.
