Now that Ivana Trump is dead, no more alimony from the former president. Will Donald have Marla Maples offed next?

Asked by elbanditoroso (33550points) July 16th, 2022

Marla was Trump wife #2.

Was getting rid of Ivana a way to reduce monthly expenses for Donald?

This question seems in really poor taste.

But he was hoping to have Pence and Pelosi OFFED.

Reducing expenses is important.

Are you insinuating that Trump killed Ivana?

My interest in Trump affairs is minimal. All I know is he should have stayed well away from politics.

She no longer received Alimony as she remarried and was a successful Buisness women for years plus an author. May she rest in Peace with no unfair judgements from the public .

@Inspired_2write Unless you are privy to their contractual arrangements, you cannot say that she wasn’t receiving funds from her ex-husband. Probably not alimony, specifically, as you said, but continuing to benefit from efforts put into his business work is a thing.

The question is tasteless, yes, but I have seen zero “unfair judgements from the public” against her either here or out in the world.

I’m not the only one who noticed that Ivana died the day before Ivanka and Eric and Don Jr. were supposed to testify under oath in one of the hearings or court cases. And now those depositions and court appearances are postponed.

(See various comments people posted in the Washington Post comments section and other locations).

I think it’s pretty darned convenient for the Trump family that Ivana died when she did.

Is this a conspiracy theory? you bet but not worse than claiming that Obama was morning in Africa.

Sick question.

@canidmajor I assumed that as in Canada and some States in the united States have this caveat.
Here is one for California, I do not now what state Trump and Ivanka were married.

“In California, the obligation to pay future alimony automatically ends when the supported spouse gets remarried. Under state law, the paying spouse does not need to file a motion to terminate support, and no court action is required. (Cal. Fam.”

In other States that do not support that there is an agreement that the Ex husband can file to stop payments etc

Some very interesting notes on Ivanka and her own comapnies.
When she passed away her net worth was 100 million.
She was a smart businesswoman in her own right!

Please, let’s not buy in to conspiracy theories, that makes us look just as bad as them. Pot calling the kettle black. Accidents DO happen.

What the fuck?

Y’all should see a therapist for these obsessive thoughts over someone you hate. This is such a strange question. Why are you asking this?

Y’all?

@Inspired_2write I said: ”Probably not alimony, specifically, as you said…”
