The actor looks somewhat like the real DDE, but I say it isn’t really him.

Henry Grace. Never a very prominent actor that I’m aware of. But he did well as Eisenhower. I recall one film that had Tom Selleck as Ike. I like Selleck as a rule and he’s great actor. So I don’t mean to put him down. But that was bad casting. He did his best, but it didn’t work in my opinion. But then that film also has Darren McGavin as Patton, so go figure. As a side note, I read somewhere that the real Ike walked out on Longest Day. Didn’t care much for it.
That was Henry Grace’s only acting role. He normally worked as a set decorator.
This may have been Grace’s only movie role, but if his contract included residuals and ongoing royalty payments, his family has been collecting for years. They play that all the time on TCM and the other oldies channels.
Since everybody has already given you his name, I’d like to add that according to IMDB he mainly worked as a set designer. He also is known for Gigi in 1958, North by Northwest in 1959, & The Time Machine in 1960. He was uncredited in The Longest Day in 1962 as Eisenhower.
In looking further, the 3 other movies that “he is known for”, he was the set designer. So playing Eisenhower & not being acknowledge for his work was his ONLY acting gig!!!
