Only 9 states have banned their sale.
There are now 42 countries that limit or ban them:
“42 countries have passed laws to limit or ban cosmetics animal testing, including every country in the European Union, Australia, Colombia, Guatemala, Iceland, India, Israel, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, the United Kingdom and several states in Brazil.”
If you live in a place that hasn’t, do you check to ensure that they’re cruelty-free?
TBH, I haven’t checked lately, but I remember seeing labels on my skin care products stating that they weren’t tested on animals.
