Do you have a bucket list and do you think you'll ever fullfill it?

I was kinda thinking of stuff I would like to do in life and figured I start writing them down. I have a long time to add to the list but who knows if I’ll ever do everything once it’s complete.

I would like to go to Alaska, I’ve been most of states in the US, don’t know if I’ll get there.

Grand Canyon / Appalachian Trail. Doubt I’ll accomplish either one, got one foot in the grave the other on a banana peel.

Alaska, Germany, Greece are three. Also the Pacific Northwest (Oregon, Washington, up to Vancouver).
You guys have some nice answers. Maybe one day I can travel around the world?
My dad was lucky enough in the 1950s and 1960s to travel around the world on business twice.
@Tropical_Willie Oh I bet he has some very interesting stories. All the sights he must have seen.

Yellowstone in the the 1950s and Yosemite in the 1940s. I’ve been to the Grand Canyon 5 times and the lowest spot in the USA in Death Valley.

Traveling around the world at this time is risky to say the least as having a great adventure
and coming back with Covid or some other disease that could become permanent is
foolhardy.
I prefer to wait until it’s cleared up completely and write my memoirs and or write stories of
growing up in a time that was vastly different from the present.I would love to visit my
longtime friend in France and view the lands where my Paternal Ancestor lived.
Any adventures I do on home ground.
( Hiking, photographing, writing, keeping records for future books to write.)
@Inspired_2write I know this pandemic is awful and so intrusive in our daily lives that it is hard to do anything anymore. I guess masking up and washing hands is the new normal. If I had one wish right now is that covid would be long gone.
@Inspired_2write: The term “bucket list” means things you want to do before you die. I am not planning to do any of the things I mentioned above any time soon, especially during a pandemic. I answered, and I believe everyone on the thread answered, with a list of things they want to do before they die, not now.
@jca2
And I stated what I want to do.
I’d like to go to Spain, Banff, and Wyoming or Montana, or one of those states out west with wide open spaces or mountains and lots of nature. I also want to own a barndominium with my husband.
My bucket list changes over time.
Sometimes you don’t even know something should be on your bucket list, and you just get lucky and an opportunity presents itself to see or do something great.
Regarding traveling around the world, I have two friends traveling constantly the last year or so. One is doing cruise after cruise. If I had to guess, she’s been on five in the last year. Another is just jet setting with her boyfriend. I see them all over Florida (well that’s driving) and Italy twice, and out to a few Caribbean islands. I think some people are making up for lost time.
My bucket list:
—Charter a canal boat going from Paris to the Med.
—Add an EASA certification to my FAA pilots license and fly around
Europe in a bi-plane.
—Paint a mural on the side of a building, even if it takes weeks.
—Record a song that gets legit airtime on the radio.
—Go to the worlds greatest parties and stay high. Mardi gras, Burning man, Full moon etc.
—Cruise a PWC to a different country just to get my passport stamped.
—Find a city and live only on tossed change by playing guitar and singing.
I will leave some of the crazier ones.
@WhyNow Those aren’t the crazy ones?! lol, I hope you’re not high while flying your plane. Wait you’re a pilot? Do you mean like real airplanes? WOW, there are some amazing people here on this site.
I want to go touch a glacier. I think I’d better hurry. Also want to go to Yellowstone. That’s more achievable.
@RocketGuy I heard that Yellowstone may blow at any minute. Better be careful.
You can see glaciers in the Tetons right next to Yellowstone.
A 2-for-1 !!! Thanks for the tip.
Now that is weird? I wrote the same thing and it’s not here. @RocketGuy
