Beach Boys and Linkin Park. Don't you think their work carries the same message?
For me, their songs are about cool talented people who no one appreciates. And the main idea is that even if such people remain lonely in their aspirations, they are above it.

Yeah, every time I hear, “crawling in my skin, these wounds they will not heal”, I immediately think of “give me some root beer (chug-a-lug chug-a-lug chug-a-lug), cold beer, root beer, here a mug, there a mug, everybody chug-a-lug”, and compare how they each express loneliness and aspiration.
Wait, what? Can you elaborate more on what you mean?
@Zaku
Linkin Park In The End and various clips of this group. Beach boys Feel Flows. Generations and their souls. Americans with their style and fresh original personalities in all time… Someone must feel.
Linkin Park’s lyrics all read like a cry for help. Beach boys lyrics deal with feelings in a totally different way.
I feel the Beach Boys are like sunshine and laughter, while LP is more fog and angst. But I like them both and definately ‘feel’ them in different ways, sure.
I’m more of a Simon&Garfunkel, Jewel type myself. Haha!
BOT,
I can attempt to speak your auto-generated language and answer your question.
To compare Linkin Park and the beach boys is like singing the praise of secular music with much bluster in a library. It denotes the privilege of having known both while being indigent in a way that requires the patronage of this particular location to have done so.
@Blackwater_Park.
Previously, after these words, I would have gone to the library and turned on Aram Khachaturian’s “Arabesque”. But I won’t on this day and after this day either. However, you need to understand the fate of some hippies and later millennials turned out no better than Pinocchio’s if he had remained a slave to pleasure island. And for them there is nothing scarier than waking up to meet a new day.
I think the common thread in the two acts is rock is not dead. It has evolved as a musical genre, consistently spitting into myriad sub-genres and fusions. The Beach Boys as an act, drew upon many influences, among them folk, blues, doo-wop, and jazz, and wove their personal feelings into songs that ranged rom influential to poignant. Although Linkin Park was not what I would consider a “pioneer ” act, they utilized a mix of genres and came forth with something unique and in their own way influential
