What public places can I and can't drink alcohol?
There are public places I can’t drink alcohol; I was told it was illegal to drink alcohol at the United Supermarket. Where else can’t I drink alcohol?

It’s totally dependent on the country, region or even facility you’re in. There’s no blanket answer. Look up the rules for your state or town but realize some facilities may have their own restrictions.
Local decision.
Where I live you have to be inside a restaurant or bar, or outside if the property lines of the bar are clearly delineated. If you drink outside of the line, you can be ticketed.
Except for special events (like street festivals) where the laws are pretty much ignored for a couple days.
On the freeway is a good place to NOT drink alcohol. Kinda frowned on in school also.
^^ and definitely not in church! Big no-no. Unless you get wine for communion, but that’s just a tiny sip, and frequently it’s grape juice.
Actually you can consume alcoholic beverages EVERYWHERE!
It is only the laws that may get you in a pickle in certain places.
SKOL!
There are areas now called Social District You buy a drink and stroll around. You cannot enter a another drinking establishment with your drink cup from where you bought the drink.
It’s up to you to know the law in the jurisdiction in which you find yourself.
