Asked by trishgirl52 (186points) September 11th, 2022

I am in my early 50’s and my breast are sagging really bad. Also my back is fat.

Breast surgery. There are no exercises or creams or lotions that will lift your breasts.

I just don’t know what to tell you other than suggest surgery.

trishgirl52's avatar

Oh no that cost way too much.

Good bras.

Get fitted for the proper size bra. (Most women don’t wear the right size.)

Breast lift tape (it’s a thing).
Comes in a few teints of skin colors.
Approximately $5 to $10.

I will look that up.

Wear your bra when going to sleep in that the breast will conform to the shape.
Usually after breastfeed this works..only a few weeks and its back in shape.

^OP is 52 years old. I think gravity has already set in and can’t be reversed by wearing a bra.

Do what my wife did; go to a bra shop!

Get measured and fitted.

A quality bra can make them look good in clothing. In most cases anyway. Wacoal is really good and other bras in that $50—$70 price point. What size are you?

If you are heavy, losing some weight and building up the muscles behind the breasts can sometimes help a little, but the tissue in the breast that is not muscle cannot be repaired when it’s damaged. You can’t exercise it back into shape.

Don’t jump or jog without a good bra on. Never do a shimmy shake of the breast like Brazilians at carnival. These things damage the tissue that cannot be repaired. Tell young women.

Breast surgery is the only way to really perk them back up and have them be in a lift position without a bra.

^ Shimmy shake! Lol.

@chyna Some zumba teachers do that move and I just think no don’t do it!

@chyna
Yes it can.
Wear a bra when going to bed at night, it helps.
( a well fitted bra)

@Inspired_2write I think I’d rather let my boobs hang low than wear a bra at night!

JLeslie's avatar

^^Me too. I know women who wear a “bra” to sleep and I can’t imagine it. Usually, something stretchy that just keeps them from moving a lot.

Inspired_2write's avatar

@janbb
If its comfortable and actually fits it wont be a problem.

I used to be one of the people measuring women and fitting them. I would hate wearing a bra to sleep, but I’m not a triple D either.
