What's the backstory of the two Ghostbusters cartoons in the 80's?
They both claimed to be “The Real” Ghostbusters.
The one with Slimer, and the other with the ape?
Did It go to court? For copyright infringement?

The two casts did melee combat to the death to establish who was more “The Real”, but unfortunately, they all died from their resulting wounds, and their souls and bodily remnants were sent to the realm of Zuul and sealed behind his gate.
Fun fact: Lorenzo Music did the voice of Peter Vinkman, who was played by Bill Murray in the movies.
Lorenzo Music also voiced the character of Garfield the cat on the TV show. When it was made into a movie, Garfield was voiced by Bill Murray.
It dates back a while The Ghostbusters cartoon is based on the 70’s live action series. It’s actually the first. the “real” ghostbusters is based on the 1984 film.
