What is the highest-level opponent that you can match in a fight?

I could take Aunt May from Marvel. Maybe Silver Samuri if he didn’t have any weapons or armor. I might tie against Jubilee from X-men.

I could take the turtle from dragon ball.

I’d like to go up against a Tall Jasper Man. Tough to take down but easily distracted with a prime rib dinner.

I don’t live in a comic-book universe, nor in a Dragon Ball universe, and I don’t think in terms of “levels” (one of the reasons I don’t like D&D, or video games based on that notion).

Toughness isn’t hierarchical. Anyone can be defeated if they can be maneuvered into the wrong circumstances. Humans are fragile, when certain things happen to them. Just ask the ghost of Achilles.
