Is the American Association for Investment and Financial Management (AAIFM), ACCREDITED by any regulatory body inside the USA, how can I be sure it is not just selling Certificates for money?

I live outside USA and don’t know how to search about this institute

They don’t sell; they certify members by examination.

I am a member of 2 other organizations that required me to take exams, I took several 3 hour long exams to get certified. AAIFM sounds like the same.

It’s your money, but use caution if you’re not already doing business in the US and want credentials that will be recognized & accepted by American regulators.

Both Forbes and CNN Money recently published articles reviewing top accreditations for financial professionals – And AAIFM wasn’t anywhere on their lists :

@JLoon is correct. If you look for news articles about them (and also Wikipedia) they have had their share of dishonesty and fraud.

I wouldn’t spend much with them.
