Has anybody had any experience with UniversalYums?
A subscription box that sends you snacks from around the world every month.
I’m nervous if I’ll get sick.

No experience with them, so I can’t be sure.
But my experience with stuff like this is that they do a nice job for a couple of shipments, and then they either start repeating choices, or they get lousier choices, or just go downhill.
If you sign up with them, make sure you can stop the subscription at any time for any reason. Don’t get locked in for a year. Chanes are you will be disappointed.
My experience with subscription type of marketing schemes like that one is that since a large part of the cost is shipping and packaging, what you get for your money is not a lot. They tend to put in little sample sizes, and the value of the merchandise/product is minimal. For example, cosmetic and makeup subscriptions will put in sample sizes of shampoo and cosmetics, which you could buy for a dollar or two, or get for free from the company that wants you to try their product.
I can’t answer your question, but have you thought about getting something like Fruit of the Month? They cost, but the fruit is excellent and – I believe – hand-picked, plus, you can get it in 3 month increments. It’s beautiful.
^^ LOL Yup! “More pears?!”
