There won’t be a 2nd Civil War.

@Dutchess III There will never be enough jails to contain the stupid in America. Their numbers trend ever skyward as before your eyes they convert the country itself into the jail imprisoning us all. The great problem with a democracy is that far too many sensible people are required to sustain it, while the percentage of ignorant dummies required for its certain destruction are puny by comparison. You need only witness which of the 2 groups is on the ascendancy to appreciate our certain destiny.

Once you discredit the ballot paper all that is left is hammers. Words have consequences, especially when spoken by those in authority.

I still say it’s like ISIS. These random White Supremacist idiots getting brainwashed and motivated to be violent. It’s not all random, some of it is very planned like January 6th.

I don’t think it’s a civil war coming like our previous civil war; I don’t think it will be fought on battlefields. I think it’s a threat to our country as a whole. If the extremists get control of elections and all three branches of the government the US will go down a horrible path at least for a while. It’s more like Nazi Germany, or dictator run communist countries, or Middle Eastern theocracies, where the country’s government is taken over by people who want total control.

The US is supposed to be for the people by the people, but that is not what the alt-right is fighting for. They are convinced that’s exactly what they are fighting for, but it’s just the opposite.
