What percentage of your waking hours are you bombarded with words?
Everywhere I go from the bathroom to shopping bombarded with words and instructions.
What else are you bombarded with? Spam? Instructions? Going for a walk?

I am not bombarded at all with signage and words.
My bathroom is a no word zone.
What does bombarded mean?
I read a lot. Books are made up of words (fancy that!). Is that bombardment? I doubt it.
I listen to the radio – most songs have words. Not sure I call that bombardment either. It’s sort of a pleasure.
What are you really getting at here?
If I don’t want words, I close the book or turn off the radio.
I am in full control starting in the morning when I read the labels on the cereal packet while listening to the radio.
@elbanditoroso Bombardment… Like hearing voices from schizophrenia, but being harassed by words. I was like that in Junior high. I was sick of being bombarded by commercials on tv then every inch of wall space in class, with resource materials for learning.
I am bombarded with ads on FB.
When I have stimulus overload I simply turn off whatever is doing it, including ignoring billboards if I’m taking a walk, setting my email to avoid spam, turning off tv or radio, etc. There really isn’t a situation where I absolutely cannot tune out. If nothing else, I can choose to leave a situation, whether it’s a class, lecture, meeting, gathering of friends or whatever.
what in the world bombards you in your bathroom? unless you’re reading labels, in which case…DON’T
@smudges Labels everywhere. Even in my bar of soap.
^^ I know, but like I said…DON’T! labeled items aren’t open yet, so put them under the sink, in the closet or medicine cabinet
