What are some unique ways to cook fresh broccoli?
I love broccoli, but am getting a bit tired of the same old thing. I like to keep things simple: I usually toss it into a pan with a little red wine and black pepper. Any suggestions?

i like broccoli with cheese (if you put it on RIGHT after cooking, thinly grated, and cover so it melts) or with Bragg's (just drizzle a little)
I eat broccoli with lemon and salt. If I'm feeling mischievous, sometimes I'll add beet juice and vinegar, it adds quite a kick.
1 large russet potato, peeled and cut into 1-inch chunks
1 pound broccoli florets
1/2 cup chicken broth
4 ounces cream cheese
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Fill a large pot with enough water to come 2 inches up the sides of the pot. Set a steamer rack in the pot, cover, and bring the water to a boil over high heat. Add the potato chunks and cook until they are very tender, about 18 minutes. Transfer the potatoes to a medium bowl and mash until smooth.
Place broccoli into steamer rack and steam over medium heat until the broccoli is very tender, about 12 minutes. Transfer the broccoli to the bowl of a food processor. Add the broth, cream cheese, and Parmesan. Process until the broccoli is pureed and almost smooth.
Stir the broccoli puree into the mashed potato and blend well. Season the puree to taste with salt and pepper, and serve.
I steam the broccoli until just tender then dip the pieces in mayonaise. That potato cream cheese dish sounds fantastic! Yum.
cut broccoli florettes small and toss in a hot skillet with olive oil and fresh minced garlic. squeeze lemon to finish. s&p; to taste.
Steam it like you probably already do. Then sprinkle a little salt and a little sesame oil.
Fab. Really. You can do this to asparagus too. Nummy.
Cook it the way you would do with cauliflower. Place in a bowl, grate in your favourite cheese and brown it under the grill. It is really tasty.
When I had teeth I ate broccoli raw. Now I steam it until I can mash it with just my gums. No salt, no sauce, just pure natural goodness.
