What do you think of this Democratic campaign ad that just shows Herschel Walker being endorsed by Trump?
Here is an article that also shows the ad. I think it is a pretty gutsy move by Warnock. Could it be that Trump is so unpopular in Georgia that just knowing that he endorses someone is considered a reason to not vote for the person?
It is true that candidates backed by Trump did not do well in the midterm elections, but that does not mean that people voted specifically against Trump. It will be interesting to see the results of the Georgia runoff. If the Democrats win, they no longer need Joe Manchin’s vote.

All I know is ANYTHING that the orange goblin endorses, would make me NOT want anything to do with it!
It is what Democrats have run on for the past 7 years. Hate Trump.
^^ LOL! I think he has endorsed that all his own!
I’m with Rayahope. Trump created that vibe all by himself.
That SNL skit where what’s his name as trump:
“The media hates me. They make look bad by posting everything I do and every thing I say.”
I think it IS a smart angle. Primaries and runoffs are terrible ways to decide election because MOST of the electorate won’t show up. They only show for general elections (and even there participation isn’t sterling). So Warnock’s best strategy is to figure out how to get people to show up. D’s already have the Senate tied up. Abortion isn’t really going to motivate since Walker/Warnock make no difference.
But…the idea that you can send ANOTHER message about Trump is very appealing to some. I don’t live in Georgia…but I’d probably show up to drive another nail into Trump’s political coffin. Unfortunately, and let’s be honest, a serious debate on the issues isn’t getting most Georgians to come out to a THIRD election to fill this seat…and that’s not counting the THREE election in 2020 held to fill this seat!!! Primary, general AND runoffs! Six elections in two years. Nobody needs that.
I hate the orange man as much as anyone, but I think the Democrats need some younger, engaging, passionate, candidates who actually stand for things and can clearly and persuasively articulate said things.
Instead of just running on “Trump is horrible.”
@cookieman I’m throwing my hat in the ring and asking for your endorsement for the office of President of the United States of America in 2024. I will run on a platform of renewable cheaper energy and sustainable resources, better-paying jobs, and affordable healthcare for all. Fewer taxes for lower and middle-income families and the wealthy will pay their fair share of taxes and company CEOs’ salaries will be capped to end the runaway difference between them and their workers. We will stop our meddling with foreign countries’ governments and economies and only provide aid in natural disasters, diseases, and famine.
....hmm, there is only one problem, I don’t have any money.
…damn!
@RayaHope: How about homemade cookies and other nom noms donated to your victory party?
@RayaHope You don’t meet the minimum age requirement for that office, but you could run for other positions. There are groups who would probably back you as a candidate if you wanted to run for something.
^^ Dang, I’ll be 19 after July 2024. What could I run for?
RAYAHOPE FOR PRESIDENT AND TO HELL WITH THE MINIMUM AGE AND GENDER REQUIREMENTS!!
@Zaku I LOVE IT!! And the memes were awesome :D
