Received an email asking me to confirm my email. Is this a valid request of a phishing/spam attempt?

Totally legit. We’ve sent out a bunch of email verification emails. Have you received yours
the message everyone’s referring to doesn’t appear on the iPhone mobile Fluther site FYI. You need to view the regular site to see that message-but as the others have mentioned, the email is legit.
I don’t think it was asked from an iPhone.
Are we supposed to have received one? I haven’t yet.
@Megan64: if you haven’t, maybe double-check your account settings (“My Account” link on the main page), and verify that you have the correct email listed in your profile?...otherwise you can hit the “Contact” link at the top of the page to send the admins a note.
I’m not sure if it’s critical that you receive and reply to the email, so perhaps contacting them would be a good idea.
Check spam filter. That’s where mine was hibernating.
