Did you hear that Kirstie Alley passed away today at the age of 71?

She was beautiful as the bridge officer in one or two of the Star Trek movies.

Yes. Cheers, of course. Other guest appearances. She started looking hung over all the time after that.

I really liked her as Lt. Savik (a Vulcan) in the Star Trek movie The Wrath of Kahn. Was disappointed she didn’t reprise her role for the 3rd and 4th ST movies. A real beauty! LOVED her hair!

Awww…I’m sorry to hear that. I had no idea she was ill, or that she was 71. She seemed so much younger. Yes, she had thick gorgeous hair!

I saw that. It’s very sad news. She was a hilarious actor.

@smudges She had cancer & the doctors had just diagnosed that. She decided to keep it private, so it felt fast to those of us who didn’t know.

I loved her in most of what she did. I think my fave was Cheers & the Look Who’s Talking series.

I pretty much liked her in everything I saw her in. She will be missed.
