You can’t help who you’re attracted to and there is NOTHING wrong with that! Is he attracted to you? If so you’re all set! Age may be the only thing that could be a problem if you or him are underage, but if not well go for it. :) Now I have to tell you I’m only 17 and still in school and not dating myself, so take this for what it’s worth. I think what you are asking is if it makes you gay to crush on a trans man. To which I would say no. A trans man is a man that was born physically a woman but no longer is a woman and is now a man. Think of it as a glitch at birth. If this person presented as a female in physical form and in manner would you still be attracted to them the same way? If not then you have your answer as to if you are straight or not.
If I’m wrong and you simply wanted to know if it wrong to be attracted to a trans person, then I would say no. As stated above, we are attracted to who we are attracted to.No right or wrong unless you are married and you are crushing on someone else other than your spouse. And by crushing I mean wanting to cheat with someone else.

It’s totally OK. You might want to have conversation about your comfort level and his. Dating a woman might be new for him, too.
