Girls. They were such an enigma! I could have written a book!
Quantum physics and its history. Or celestial navigation.
Something I don’t even know exists, which is probably many things.
Poetry of Sri Lanka.
Almost everything. As a recent example, the life of Martin Luther King. I know he gave a speech circa early 60s. That’s about it.
Physics, algebra, locomotive engines, Mandarin.
Facebook, Tik Tok, Instagram.
Math, physics, biology, geography, engineering…
@Brian1946 I’ll gladly let you copy my work :P
Genital reconstructive surgery.
Oh, let’s say . . . the history of buttons. Or how to make color prints. The technology of katana. Diamond cutting. Wedding customs of Peru. Food coloring. Digestive system of the snail. I could go on.
The life story of the leader of Sierra Leone.
@ragingloli I bet you were a riot in school! How do you come up with…never-mind.
@Jeruba Oh please don’t. lol :D
The list would be much shorter if the teacher asked what I could write knowledgeably about, like washing sperm.
@smudges WHAT?! Oh my God I have no idea what that is..ewww
@RayaHope, it’s not really “ew”, without that technology I wouldn’t have my daughter.
she writes “ewww” a lot. wait til she has a baby and has to clean up after it time after time, day after day! :D
@smudges My baby will be super clean and never make a mess! :)
And will only play with wooden toys crated by Tibetan monks!! ;-)
ummm, sure they look nice!
Lol @RayaHope you are in for a rude awakening some day. ; )
@NoMore I googled them and they look kind of pretty. Not sure how fun they would be to play with but they might be nice on the shelf.
Ancient shipbuilding. It’s incredible how they managed to build advanced engineering projects with basic tools and no formal system for calculating loads and forces etc. Oh and it’s watertight, life/death if it fails and gets violently pushed around by waves most of it’s existence in a highly corrosive marine environment. It would be interesting to learn more about how the hell they figured all of that out and write up a report.
The building of the Pyramids.
Oh boy. Quite a bit. There’s so much I don’t know. Mathematics for sure. Chemistry. Other languages. Even stuff I’m familiar with I’d want to research first.
