Have any of you heard the rumors that Putin is dead?

I saw a news link yesterday that the leader of the Ukraine had said he is dead. And some Russian big wig predicted he won’t live out this year.

I keep reading that he has cancer & can’t possibly last much longer. Not sure that I believe it. He’s one person that I’ll need to see dead before I believe it & even then I’ll still have doubts!!!
That may be fantastic news!
Waiting for obituary !
Seriously ! ! ! ! !
I have heard that he was ill.
No. In fact…didn’t he just give a speech today or yesterday? Pretty sure he’s not dead.
I’ve also heard the rumors that he’s ill, but they’re just rumors. Alot of the speculation conveniently comes from Ukrainian sources so… very probably a disinformation campaign meant to bolster morale. They are saying he has blood cancer…which I wasn’t even aware was a thing. But there’s no proof as I understand it.
Vladamir Putin’s dead.
No, no, he’s outside looking in.
I have a relative that is looking for his obituary with glee. I’m sure I would have heard by now.
@filmfann ~~Does that mean he’s moody? Or just a case of the blues?
Just curious about what news source you heard this from? I follow President Zelenskyy’s official Instagram page, and I’ve not heard that he made any such announcement.
@Entropy I have been hearing that he’s got cancer for years…even before he started the war with Ukraine!!! Having cancer doesn’t necessarily mean that he has one foot in the grave with the other sliding in
When Russian TV goes to 24-hour broadcast of Swan Lake, that’s when I’ll believe it.
I think Putin is unwell, and he may be unfit to rule, but I don’t think he’s going to go quietly.
He’ll probably want to take Ukraine down with him.
@RocketGuy, I think his mania is more megalo than that. He most likely dreams about taking the whole Western world down with him.
Guess you can’t keep a good mad man down.
I saw him recently on TV skipping down airline steps on a visit to Belarus or somewhere. He looked disappointingly healthy.
@flutherother, but the footage itself might not have been recent, right?
@Jeruba this is the footage I saw of Putin visiting Belarus last December. I don’t think it is old footage. As well as Putin’s sprightly descent from the airline steps I thought it interesting that Putin accepted the sweet given to him on landing. It appears he expected it though it seems unusual. Is this a Belarusian custom or was it staged to show how much Putin trusts Lukashenko?
