So by U.S. federal regulations, there’s really only three classifications, and the sole difference among them is whether the unauthorized disclosure of information might be expected to cause damage, serious damage, or exceptionally grave damage to national security (Confidential, Secret, or Top Secret, respectively).

Pawn is generally used for this designation. Low man on the board, he’s used by the player as a sacrifice, and he’s the only piece that can be upgraded. I usually like going from pawn to knight. Dude on horse is awesome!
