What are you doing for valentines day?

Watching half the world get cards, presents, chocolates, and flowers.
At 56 I still have to receive my first card.
I guess my secret admirers want to keep it a secret.

(But truth be told, I had oral surgery this morning.)

Work, TV, painting, dinner, TV, sleep.

It snowed 2” last night and I can’t work today because of it. So I’m staying home, watching some TV and waiting for the snow to melt.

Can’t decide on Nice, France or Rome, Italy or Seville, Spain…decisions decisions..

I forgot it was V-day. Had some wonderful ones in the past though. Actually, yesterday was much more important to me. It was the birthday of my best friend of 45 years. She passed away 2 years ago. Dreamed about her last night. Still miss you Kathy! ♡

I left for work at 5 a.m., while my sweetie was leaving at 8 a.m. to be gone until late Thursday. So I left her a card and a scented candle and we will have a nice dinner on Saturday.

Making a delicious dinner is about as far as I’ve got.
What are you and the chickens up to?! :)

I worked this morning, then I came home and I’ve been studying and washing laundry for the past six hours. My husband is going to make a chicken stir fry for dinner and I bought hot fudge to put on vanilla bean ice cream.

We don’t do Valentines Day. What I described is a typical day for us except the fudge was a splurge.
