Do you think the new accounts that don't post any questions or answers are spammers?

As you probably know Fluther is getting bombarded with spammers from every angle. I’m curious if the accounts that join but don’t ask questions or post answers are accounts the spammers are using. But I’m not 100% sure.

I give them the benefit of the doubt if they don’t post continuous mindless garbage or have websites or emails attached to their home pages. If it’s just their name and not much else I simply figure they are new and trying to figure things out.
They might just want to listen in and learn from everyone else.
No. After all, “curiosity killed the cat.” And there’s nothing wrong with being curious here.
Shyness. People sign up, thinking they want to participate. But then they view the erudite and well-thought-out discourse here and they know they can’t measure up. So they are silent.
We haven’t had new accounts in months because of ONE repeat spammer.
