When you meet someone you're attracted to, how do you hide it?

It’s been a while since this happened, but remembering back I generally tried my best to ignore the person if dating was out of the question for whatever reason.

I still treat them the same as everyone else. It happens to me everyday. It’s a burden to be honest, but you just bury those feelings and go on like normal. Long-term attraction is much harder to come by. Initial lust is pretty common.

Blushing could work to your advantage!!! Blushing is considered cute by many. Princess Diana always seemed to look like she was blushing & people adored her!!! I’m NOT one to hide my feelings; so if I like you, it’s going to show…if I don’t like you, it will be just as obvious.

Just kind of avoid them.

That’s tough if you are in some classes or work with them. I get all stupid and can’t think right I try to say something cool and it comes out all dumb.

Why try to hide it? Let the person know how you feel. If it works out fine. If not, then that’s the way the ball bounces. As my Old Pappy used to say. We all go thru it at some point.

But I’m afraid of the consequences, it’s complicated.

If you don’t try you’ll never know the difference. Pappy never said that, I am. Lol

Why is it I always want to say something, start to say something, know I shouldn’t say anything, but can’t keep my damn mouth shut? I’m going to watch a video and do some thinking, yeah, that never works…

Just be yourself.

Thanks but some folks might beg to disagree. My Old Pappy had good advice too at times. But Pappy wasn’t a well man you know.

Oh, you’re messing with my head. That’s a dangerous thing to do. Because it’s not very well maintained and may go to blue screen at any moment…..beep…..beep—————————lol

I can’t hide my emotions like others do. I’m an open book and people can read me too well. Sometimes you don’t want others to know how you feel about them right away because they may use that to their advantage to get what they want to soon. And I’d be powerless to resist because…dang this is getting too personal.

I guess I can’t. I’m a basket case…

Whyever would I hide it? I’m just not creepy about it.
