How does resetting my phone get it to work again?

Asked by RedDeerGuy1 (24941points) March 21st, 2023

My Motorola android phone has lots of cracks, and the touchscreen crashes. It works for a bit after resetting the phone.

Why?

I’m sorry your phone has cracks in the screen. I looked up on Google. There is a shop called Mobi Jacks that can repair it. I’m sorry, but I don’t know how much it will cost.

I think that resetting it clears all the misinformation that has accumulated due to the difficulty of reading gestures through the cracks.

@Hawaii_Jake Thanks, but my phone isn’t worth fixing. From day one it crashed too many times. It’s finally paid off. I will try to save some money for an unused phone this time.

I’m curious about all the cool apps that are out there to explore.

@RedDeerGuy1 I have a Moto G Power 2021 and the screen is all cracked up, but I put a protector screen on it an it works good. maybe you just have a bad phone :(

@Dig_Dug Yes I agree. My phone was used and always was defective. I will see about getting a new, new phone next time.
