Utah, the Land of Mormons? Not likely.
@RedDeerGuy1 The Bible has some pretty fucked-up shit in it. Like if a guy rapes your daughter he has to pay you 30 pieces of silver and marry her or something along those lines.
I had heard about this over the weekend, but had neglected to research it. According to The NY Post parents in Utah want to have the Bible banned because it’s pornographic.
Oh there’s a lot of crazy stuff in that book!
^^ YES…there’s a LOT of crazy stuff in it; however, only dirty minded people will see it as pornographic!!! As a child, my ass was sitting in church EVERY Sunday & I NEVER once thought what I was hearing was nasty…crazy maybe but NOT nasty!!!
It was one of those that their way is the ONLY way & everybody else is going to Hell. I NEVER believed that either!!!

A parent has asked the State of Utah to ban the bible from a public school because it is pornographic. Utah passed a law in 2022 banning any books with pornographic or indecent content and it seems someone is making a point.
“You’ll no doubt find that the Bible, under Utah Code Ann. § 76–10-1227, has ‘no serious values for minors’ because it’s pornographic by our new definition,” the Utah parent wrote.
“If the books that have been banned so far are any indication for way lesser offenses, this should be a slam dunk.”
@NoMore Mormons study their own Bible, “The Book of Mormon (BOM)” mostly.

Mormons are filthy heretics, all of them.
Mormons are definitely heretics. They may not be dirty but they are blind to reason and reality. It’s shocking and bewildering.
I’ve been to their church many times. Read the BOM completely. Had several meetings with Mormon leaders about the many problems within the BOM that are inconsistent with reality. No valid explanations were given. They just don’t seem to care that many of the events discussed in the BOM never could have happened. They just believe it all anyway.

@snowberry…the church teachers are not going to pull from the disgusting parts of the Bible to teach from. That’s why you never heard about it.
