What are the chemical activities within a human brain that take place when one feels joyful?

In the absence of these chemical reactions, can a human still feel happy?

It’s electrical, not chemical.

Endorphins.

Dopamine. It’s involved with allowing you to feel pleasure, satisfaction and motivation.

Dopamine
Oxytocin
Seratonin
Endorphins

Maybe? There’s medication for depression. Helps for some people.

And there’s also the issue of receptors for said chemicals.
