Why don’t any wifi networks show on my laptop?

My laptop suddenly has no wifi. It doesn’t show any wifi networks. My husband says it’s like the wifi antenna is gone.

What happened? What do I do?

You probably accidentally turned it off. Some have a switch on the side, others have an fkey of some flavor.

SHOCKING, but I fixed it. I had to reinstall something. Terrifying. I searched youtube and this guy named like 15 things to check and try, and luckily the third thing I tried (which was like the 7th thing he demonstrated, he went so fast) worked.
