What is the best sports film?
I love sports movies of any sort, but I feel like I have seen them all. Any favorites out there?

One that I saw recently is The Greatest Game Ever Played.
It's an enjoyable, feel-good movie based on events around the 1913 US Open. I liked it even though I'm not at all into golf. 8-)
Rudy, hands down. Bull Durham, close second.
I wouldn't say it's the best movie ever, but Jerry Maguire falls into the category...
Slapshot
Field of Dreams
The Natural
Youngblood
Rocky 1-4
"61" is a great baseball movie.
A League of Their Own
The Sand Lot
Does Rounders count? And yes, I personally view poker as a sport. =)
If there is an answer to this question for me it's Hoosiers. For me it captures what a sports film is all about. But I don't think that you can really beat Raging Bull or The Hustler, both great films.
Other ones I like:
The Karate Kid
The Color of Money
White Men Can't Jump
The Longest Yard (the original)
Million Dollar Baby
Seabiscuit
Strange Brew (just give it to me)
Cannonball Run
my all-time favorite would most definatly have to be remember the titans, it is meaningful you become attached to the players and you experience all that the titans have to go through. "We Are The Titans The Mighty Mighty Titans!"
I change my vote: Field Of Dreams
Bull Durham, end of argument. The Natural, Eight Men Out, Breaking Away, Bad News Bears (the original) get honorable mentions.
Pre
Saint Ralph
Without Limits
Many of the movies from above, but I would also add:
Major League
Hoop Dreams
great documentary called murderball about wheelchair rugby… Its pretty incredible.
Field of Dreams, closely followed by Brian’s Song
