I’m a proud monthly donor to KLove radio, have been for years. I listen often enough, so I donate.

No I generally don’t have that much to donate, so when I do donate, it’s to the animal shelter or to a person that helps animals. They need my dollars more than some of these random fundraisers.
Before NPR went commercial (that’s another discussion) I volunteered for a public radio station in Colorado – worked at many of the fund drives as a phone person, or later on, as coordinator. And I contributed every year.

Sadly, the entire Public Radio ‘ethic’ has passed.
I was a “member” of KQED in San Francisco, and took part in pledge drives, until they muscled out the Sacramento NPR station. KQED is just a bunch of bullies.
My grandfather donated $10,000 to PBS in 1995.
I usually only donate to Wikipedia, the Salvation Army, and to panhandlers.
I’m a sustaining member of WXXI – NPR. I enjoy their programming.
Yes. Not in the past twenty or so years.
WNYC (NPR) and Channel 13 (PBS)
PBS, a long time ago. Other than that, my carefully selected charities are for animals.
No. I donated to animal rescue through Amazon Smile, and I would donate to animal rescue through fundraiser dinners and when I see an opportunity elsewhere.
I give $5/month to PBS and get access to their streaming library. For me that’s a fantastic deal compared to Netflix or HBO.
Also $5/month each to my NPR outlet and another public station which is all about music.
My monthly streaming entertainment bill is less than $30 US when you add Amazon Prime. An awesome bargain compared to equivalent satellite radio, and cable TV subscriptions.
