Egad! Do you wear Crocs?
Please no! None of that! Oh heavens! Crocs?!
You can’t be serious.

No. I feel that they look weird on anyone but small children.
No, but I don’t judge. I hear they’re comfortable, and I can respect someone choosing function over form.
They seem to work a bit like Hey Dude’s, for wider feet they seem to do best. My feet are too long and skinny for either of those. Plus crocs have no heel support, but they are good in water for short jaunts.
Yeah, I used to mock the croc but then started developing a heel spur and now I wear them around the house all the time but never in public.
Not me, but my sister was an OR nurse for twenty years and wore no other brand or type at work. If I was still bartending, I might, but rest easy, @Hawaii_Jake, my feet have never touched them. :-D
Yes. I take them backpacking. They’re super light camp shoes.
No. I tried them and did not like how they felt. Some people love them, and that is just fine with me. Foot comfort and health is too important, wear whatever feels good.
I love crocs. My old ones have a hole in the sole so I need to get a new pair.
Love ‘em! Wear them most of the time. I own 3 pairs. One pair for outside. One pair for inside the house and one pair for going canoe paddling.
No. I know they’re popular. A good friend always wears them, in and out of the house. I think they’re goofy looking. I also don’t wear Uggs but they’re another thing that are goofy looking but very popular.
Last time I was in Walmart, I see they just came out with an imitation Crocs-type shoe.
In the house, I wear an indoor/outdoor type of slipper. Outside, like shopping or errands, I usually wear sneakers.
They’ve had some traction on the internet lately because in the movie Idiocracy, everyone wears them in the future. During the film’s production, Crocs was a startup company, and the movie’s costumer had a small budget, and she bought them figuring they wouldn’t catch on.
Yup for the last 20 years. Currently have three pairs.
NO…Not anymore!!! I wore them for a couple of years following my stroke as I couldn’t walk in regular shoes. Yes, they were ugly as hell…but they didn’t hurt my feet…UNTIL…they did. That’s when I started looking for something better. Once found, I NEVER went back to Crocs. My shoe of preference at this particular time is Skechers…UNLESS they continue to raise their prices!!!
I’ve never worn them, but from the images I saw at Goog, they look okay to me.
I think open-toed footwear is less safe, especially on escalators.
However, I think high heels are the worst.
I still don’t know what Crocs refers to. Are they a brand name of those brightly colored plastic sandals?
Never. Ugg!
Actually, no Ugg’s either.
Conversely, I quite like All Birds.
I also like Converse.
The rest are for the birds.
I think most Crocs are adorable, but then, I’m an old Birkenstocker and can see the resemblance. I began wearing Birks when my heels were killing me. I have wide flat Flintstone feet so they really helped. I wear either the sandals with or without socks, depending on the season or the clogs. Never wear sneakers, haven’t for years.
I guess because I wear them, I don’t feel the need to spread out into Crocs.
Never worn them. They are hideous, so it probably wouldn’t matter how comfortable they are.
Never have. Not even sure what they look like, but they sound awful. Chances are you’ll never see me in them as long as my attire is up to me.
. . .
Just looked at @canidmajor‘s link. I prize comfort over vanity in almost any circumstances, but those go too far. The world needs less plastic and more regard for aesthetics.
Only OluKai sandals for my feet.
^I had never heard of them, so I looked them up. They look comfy and conform to the foot. Not just a flat sandal. I might have to get a pair.
^ they do fit well and do well in the salt water.
Whatever works for your feet is fine with me, even better is what works for my feet.
@smudges “Flinstone feet” – I like that! I have them too. Usually wear New Balance or Hoka sneakers out and Halfinger clogs around the house.
My sister and I aren’t related (both adopted) but we have the same feet. Lol I’m always on the lookout for a new shoe/clog; I’ll check out the ones you mentioned.
No, I don’t think they look good or feel good. I think they look nice on small children though. My nephews likes them.
Yup! They are one of the few shoes that don’t hurt my arthritic toe. I love that people think they are ugly. And I have always loved a big, clunky shoe.
Personally, I think most casual shoes people wear are ugly, especially athletic shoes/trainers. Ew. And the multitude of hideous and uncomfortable women’s shoes boggles my mind.
I have a pair of crocs that’s like watercolor tie dye, and a pair with strawberries on them.
