Unfortunately, you’re faced with a one-to-many (including none) relationship here.
Best you can hope for would be something that you feed a business’ phone number into and hope that it returns a main contact email dropbox address in return.
Example, you get a phone call from 202–456-1414.
Turns out that there might be any number of email addresses for folks that work there.
Not that I’ve heard of. Wouldn’t that be a huge privacy issue anyway? What possible situation could there be where you cannot call the number and ask for their address?
What I would like to do is send a mass reminder email to my clients cell phones as a text message. I think the problem would be that phone numbers are not married to telephone service anymore.
Okay, first, please tell me you’re gonna have your customers opt in for this service. Texting charges can be pricey for some users.
Second, try Teleflip‘s free service. You can send text messages to any cell phone in the US by sending email to (area code + phone number) @ teleflip . com.
Whoops, Teleflip is out of business.
Try looking around for a similar service then.
