Medical doctor, psychologist, therapist. Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Medical Technologist (Clinical Laboratory Scientist).

My father, who was a teacher, didn’t need a license but did require a teaching certificate. His having a BA and MA helped get him more money in his teaching position.

We ARE talking about having a LICENSE, aren’t we?? Not a diploma, not a certificate.

Like a philosopher, vs. a psychologist. Psychologist is a licensed profession, while philosopher is not.

Teachers – it depends. University faculty don’t need a license or certificate, they do need a diploma.

I need a license for my drone.

007 needs one in “A License to Kill”
