Did you, or someone you know, get one of those All About Vibe pet pillow things?

I wonder more about the psyche of the kid than the quality of the pillow. College is a time for breaking free and doing new things, experiencing new friends, etc – not for hanging on to the past.

^hogwash. She wants a picture of the dog. She’s not holding onto trauma that needs therapy to undo. Chill, dude.

This is the first I’ve heard of them. Seems like a reasonable request on your kid’s part since the price isn’t bad. Pets are quite often the first ‘true’ friend a child has. I’ve know adults in their 30s who deeply mourned the dog or cat they had since they were in college.
