Have you ever used photograph enhancement software?
If so, was it easy to use and was it value for money. I’m specifically thinking of GigapixelAI which is a bit expensive but any experience would be helpful.

My mom loves Picture It. They don’t make new versions. She bought for $5.
All the time. Literally every day. If it’s not the iphone’s internal photo enhansing software I am manipulating images on other programs on my PC or ipad.
Only on a very basic level, on my PC. Mostly for cropping unnecessary stuff out of the picture.
Once I did some color enhancement, sort of as an experiment, but it really didn’t look ‘normal’ so I ended up using the original.
I was looking at the Persona app, but it costs like $50/month & I decided I didn’t want to pay that much to pretend I look different!!! I’m of the opinion that IF you don’t like me just like I am, then you don’t really like me & I can live with that!!!
Software is not part of using a camera for me.
@SnipSnip It is. Even your camera has software (firmware) inside that digitally manipulates photos. The .jpg you see is a processed image—a best guess by your camera on what looks the best based upon your preference settings. The “auto” preference settings for .jpg are generally pretty good so you don’t have to do anything.
@all if you’re looking for free software for phone snapshots, the internal iphone software is pretty good and I think Samsung’s is probably better. An app I really like is called Snapseed and that is free.
@Caravanfan Again. There is no software involved in photography for me.
@snipsnip so you do film photography? If so, super cool! I grew up with a darkroom and was developing pictures when I was 9
