Should our website's name be changed?

Asked by Love_my_doggie (13076points) June 23rd, 2023

I just read that a collection of jellyfish can be called a “fluther” or a “smack.”

So, Jellies, what do you think? Should this website be renamed “Smack,” and should each of us be known as a “Smacker,” “Smacky,” etc.?

NO…We tend to smack each other around too often as it is & I don’t think we need to encourage it!!!

“Fluther” is weird enough.

Smack is the nickname for heroin. I like the name Fluther.

Even if we wanted it changed, we don’t own it, the owners own it. It’s not a democracy.

When I talk about Fluther, I don’t want to be talkin’ smack.
