What are the nutritional values of 100 grams of daddy long leg spiders?
Just wondering.
Calories, and vitamins and fiber please.
Feel free to add different types of spiders, and other insects.
If you prefer imperial measurements over metric, than that’s ok.

At my house…ZERO!!! I’ve NEVER been so hungry that I’d even consider putting a spider in my mouth so it can’t have any nutritional value!!!
@LadyMarissa They sell cricket flour in Canada. Also in Toronto they have crickets as a pizza topping.
Sorry that I don’t have a link.
I get paid this morning and will order groceries online.
Living in the Southern part of the US, I can get you ALL the FREE crickets that you want & you can grind your own flour!!! I’ll have to get a LOT hungrier than I am now to start eating bugs!!! Do you have any idea how many crickets you’d have to eat just in order to be less hungry???
Served with or without gravy?
The bonus is you can pick your teeth with a leg when you’re done.
I wonder what the volume (space required) would be for 100 grams of spider. If they’re dead, the could be compressed to fit in a small medicine pill container. However, if they’re still alive, how much space would they take (and be able to stretch their legs)?
@Zaku Well, a spider is not an insect so not surprised it’s not listed.
Bruh. Crickets on pizza!
Don’t get me wrong, I’d eat a Cricket…
I would think daddy long legs would be a negative calorie food.
Probably take more calories collecting, and preparing them to be safe to eat, and digesting than you would get from eating one…
